OK let me start out & say I love my Sigma.Well when I first got it I knew
there hard pull trigger was the down fall.I read up on it & for over a few
$100 bucks? so that was a given on the gun.

But knowing S&W made it I got one for $285 & heck it's a S&W.Well when it came in I thought what a cool looking gun.It felt like they made it for my hand.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm S&W!Well let's go shoot it!Mmmmmmmmmmm then I
pulled off the first shot.Hummmmmmmmmm It's a Smith but dam it's as bad
as some say.

I know why Smith did it that way, but there's must be a fix to that hard trigger.
Well there is & I keep tuning this gun.First I put a Wolf spring in.That made a huge improvement in a lighter pull.I then started using light moly grease on
all moving parts. Then I polished the striker & Man, what a gun.

It still has a long pull but you ajust quick to that & it's still a Smith.JMOHOP!

Did you remove the extra spring in the trigger sear group.

.Nope but I thought about it.But heck it's really good the way
it is now.I may in the future cause I can't quit messing with stuff.

But I really think alot of people are over looking a great gun, if they just do as I did, cheap & easy fix.:thumbup3:

i'm glad you like yours. i had one a few years back and hated it. the one i had failed to fire every 20 rounds at least. made me lose my confidence in the sigma line. but it sounds like you've got a good one, so have fun with it and shoot it alot. i hope it lasts for you.

I've got 2 9mm and 40, I have never had a failure of anything in either and have some where around 1000 rounds through each.

I've removed the spring on both of them and it reduces the trigger pull quite a bit. Since you have already smoothed the other parts it will feel great when you get it done.

I did remove the extra spring from trigger sear group today & it did help
some. But the Wolf spring made all the difference.Removing that spring
made some difference, but I would not want less after doing both.

This was done buy S&W as a safety. But the long trigger is what makes this gun
safe. You get used to that quick. :thumbup3:
