Ed Brown sells some lube that they recommend for their 1911s. That's what I use. Seems to work fine.

Ed Brown tried to get Weapon Shield to package its product under the name "Ed Brown" because they were convinced it was the best, and George Fennel basically said "f*uck you".

Millitec. Apply liberally, spread with finger till all metal parts covered. Especially friction points. Work slide numerous times. Wipe down with lint free diaper. Millatec is especially designed forcweapons. NO particles. It's expensive but worth it.
