M1a scooe mount

Have a sa m1a not sure if I should go with basset or sadlak m1a scope mount I have sadlak nm spring guide and its great but was wondering bout basset also seeing as its like 150 cheaper

I have a Basset Machining mount on mine. I like it.

I have a Bassett Machine on my M1a and I am pleased with it too. Very solid mount.

Do you have high or low the high looks like it would be unstable but I want to be able to use iron sights also

Low, and I am not able to use iron sights. Solid as a rock though.

I think im gonna try basset hearing that helps normally cheaper on is well not the better one but it sounds like they make good stuff

I'll echo the recommendations for Bassett. I have one of their standard mounts with a set of medium-rise Weaver rings and a K4-1 scope on my M1A, and while the scope sits low, I can still use the iron sights. Here's a pic of the rifle with the Bassett mount.

I took a different route and went with the CASM mount. Mounts very, very solid. Couldn't be happier. In all honesty, you'll need something on your stock to get proper cheek weld by mounting a scope and by doing this, you won't be able to really use your irons anyway.
