Marlin 336 SDT

Picked this up today one of 501 ever made. What do you think. Marlin 336 SDT 16 inch Davidson trapper.

I wanted one of those for years but was never able to get my hands on one, so I kind of pieced my own together. At the time of my project, this Trapper was the only stainless 30-30 without a pistol grip, so I acquired a trigger plate and buttstock off a 1895 stainless guide gun and added a WWG large loop lever. Everything mated up perfectly to the 336 frame. The gun still has a 20” barrel, but it’s pretty sleek with the straight grip.
I don’t have a good picture, but you can get the idea from this one.

Now if they would only make one just like it in 357 maximum and 375 winchester.

I'd give them $500 for them!

It would really be cool to size the 336 action down for the 357 maximum
