The Ruger version may end up being a really nice firearm, but it will never be a JM Marlin.
I think I paid $150 for mine in '76. Sounds like I could make a nice profit on it, but it is one I'll never sell.
I don't remember exactly what I paid for it. I just remember that I saved up all summer to buy it.If you look at an inflation calculator that $150 would be equal to about $740 today.
