Good lord, don't get me started. My wife is just like hanson405's mother. She runs water hits the switch for about 1/10 of the time she should and then turns it and the water off. :pissed:

And she also has the weird idea that the vacuum cleaner will pick up bricks, bones, kid toys, dog toys, old furniture and all manner of whatever happens to be in the floor that she doesn't want there.

Thread is killing me. I'm on the edge of my seat awaiting the next chapter.

Oh fear not dear RidgeHunter... this female could do the exact same thing tomorrow and never acknowledge that any of the prior warnings and experience ever occured. This is not over by a long shot.

That's a big 10-no-$h1tter good buddy. I could fill volumes with vacuum cleaner tales. I lost track of how many I've replaced. My wife has this really thick, long beautiful black hair that is wonderful for lots of things, but she sheds / regrows an entire headful everyday. The stuff is freaking EVERYWHERE. I swear I could knit an afghan the size of Montana with just a weeks collection.

It attaches itself to EVERYTHING; drains, towels, velcro, linens, nameit... but the absolutely number one thing that these sprawling tentacles of havoc love to destroy is vacuum cleaners. They tangle themselves up in every wheel, gear, belt, motor and any other moving part that has a useful purpose until movement is impossible. Seriously, the OHP wouldn't need spike strips if she were on the force... they'd just toss out a ball of her destructive locks into the path of a vehicle and game over.

Anyway... THAT is a different thread.

I told the builder when our house was built to leave the disposal out. He never told the plumber and so we are the proud owner of a garbage disposal that NEVER gets used..Been installed for about 12 years and probably hasn't been used 12 times..That's if the wife hasn't been feeding it without my knowledge.

Oh I can assure you she has been. They're sneaky like that.

UPDATE:

Well, the wife caught a glimse of me cracking my favorite dishwasher joke on mhphoto's rinse or not to rinse, that is the question thread. She didn't think it was as funny as I did. Anyway, one thing led to another and she saw this thread too and despite my claims that she would conveniently forget the episode, it all came rushing back to her in a flash.

She read the whole thread and had some comments along the way... things like:

MRS. HMFIC might just decide MR. HMIFC can cook his own food, clean his own dishes and #@&* his own %$*&.

and

"We'll just see if the H.M.F. is 'In Charge' of ANYTHING in the bedroom tonight, won't we?"

and

"Tell those guys that the garbage disposal is the ONLY thing you'll be sticking your 'soft carrot' in tonight"

and

This:

Me taking that pic while she was ranting didn't exactly help matters, but it's not likely to get any worse... She's off doing homework now, content that she's put me in my place.

She did seem to like Sol's post... a little TOO much for my taste. I might sleep with one eye open tonight.

Bwahaha, this thread has gone from pretty good to amazing in an instant.

Am I going to have to be the first one to mention that the pic of her giving the finger to the camera is pretty hot?

Edit: I was beaten to the punch...by a chick. You can always count on BB to womanize.

You guys can be so daft sometimes ... First JB waxes on about how the prepper chick in Houston is SOOOO not his deal ... methinks he doest protesteth a bit too much ... and now you think it was the camera she was aggravated at?? ;) I really don't think it was the camera she was flippin' off ...

I'm starting to think GC is just your average, normal bear after all ... (love you baby!)
