I have an 11-48 in twenty gauge. My favorite quail gun.

I agree that more shot is better for learning.

But practicing with a .410 would be like swinging a bat with a donut on it.

I once met a one armed man that could handle a Franchi twenty gauge and shoot quail with it.

On a serious note those Franchi 20 gauge shotguns are well balanced and sweet guns to shoot.
