Thank you for contacting me with your concerns and comments. I agree with your thoughts wholeheartedly. It is imperative that we protect our 2nd Amendment rights in Oklahoma. Three years ago I ran a bill similar to Wyoming's new legislation. It was vetoed by Governor Henry. Senator Patrick Anderson and I will introduce this legislation again this year as we work closely with 2nd Amendment organizations and other Legislators. We have many 'pro-gun' bills introduced this year, several of which are mine. We need to work to expand our rights as citizens. It is important to know that Oklahoma is behind this legislation. Please encourage your friends and family who agree with these concerns to contact their Senators and Representatives to share their opinion.
