More than you know...
I was invited to a picnic and told the girl I could only stay 10 min. Met my wife ( different girl) and left with the first girl within 20 minutes. Went home called her ( my present wife) home and asked her my mom to have her call me. She didn't, but I called back and set up our first date (TO CHURCH). Proposed on that date. she laughed. It took two years for her to agree. We were then engaged for 2 years. Been married to her for 44 years next May 2nd. Best encounter I ever had!!!
I walked into the room buck naked with a big blue bow covering the private parts, (big blue bow emphasised), knelt down and asked for her hand.

I met my wife in a class in college. I was a senior and she was the professor.
Nothing chance about this encounter. When I was 16 I lived in a small town in SE Okla. Went to the Methodist Church but most of my friends were Baptists. Several of them invited me to a Baptist church camp. As I recall, the only reason I went was they said it was a good place to meet girls. Met a 14 year old from another town (40 miles of bad road - I think there was a song about it.) We dated for three years, were engaged for one and next May will have been married for 50.
What worked? The big blue bow? It fall off or something?
