Never did I once condone there actions, I stated the videos do not show the whole story. I've already seen the 3rd video posted, I'm not conviced they just showed up that morning to tear down that tent/cut it up. I think there is more to the story, believe what you want, you won't change mind. For some that cant get the analogy, if you mess with someone or a group of people enough, you will get a response, and it maybe more than what you bargained for. As for not answering the question I would have to see what happen before the tent was torn down to say weather they got what they deserved.

In this country, you have the right to as annoying, offensive, or provocative as you want and still have the protection of the law. There are NO circumstances under which the union boys didn't violate the AFPs rights.

If your standard of "it's ok if they were provoked" were the law of the land, the WBC would not be able to exist for all of the violence that would be brought against them.

The union boys were in the wrong regardless of any other variable. How about that one jack wagon yelling about a gun? "I kill any MFr with a gun! I kill 20MFrs with guns!". They sure are putting their best foot forward aren't they?

Not responding to the hypothetical question farmerbyron asked.

I did respond several times, I asked to see the whole story no one has produced it, it's incomplete.

Then you are missing a comma.

Ok, it's a forum not English class, goading wont get you anywhere with me

Not really, all my posts are bold when im at a keyboard and can do it easily. It helps differentiate my words from those I am quoting.

Getting your point across with bold or capital, is getting your point across.

I'll remember that the next time we all start laughing at this video and remarking how "the guy had it coming".

Capitol letters indicate yelling. Bold characters do not, unless they are capitalized as well. I am trolling you a little bit, but just because you have been so flighty with your answers.

Allow me to recall and rephrase the question. Please keep in mind that this is a hypothetical question related to the theme of the thread but not dependent on what may or may not have provoked the tent incident.

If the Westboro Baptist Church is protesting one of our brothers' funeral and they are screaming about how God loved IED's and how we are just a bunch of baby killers and rapists; at what point or with what provocation by the protesters is it then ok for me to rip their sign down and give the scumbag a wood shampoo?

Yes, that is one hell of a run on sentence.

To remind our readers, the original question was simply,

Under what circumstances is it acceptable to tear down someone else's demonstration?

I'm not a grammar nazi...

Lay the wood to them, do you have the right to free speech, of course, I don't think that gives you free reign to be a douche to everyone around you or disrespect a fallen soldier along with his wife, kids, and other loved ones. When does there rights infringe on my rights? The bill of rights guarantees a lot of things, but your rights can not trample mine. They will not.

Im not either, but goading you into an answer necessitated a wee bit of trolling.

Just to be sure, the point where they take out an American flag, and then start stomping on it, I would have to leave or I would risk going to jail. All the people that served under that flag, all the time away training, all the time away at war, the things that veterans give up, not to mention there families, all the blood and sweat poured out, just so they can have that right. So yes there is a point, there is a line you can cross in my book.

I'm through with this thread, I'm not "crying" anymore, you all can have your union bashing party without me from now on.

Discliamer: You all pertains to the unions bashers, so if that's not you disregard.
