Not too long ago in US history, if a cop was attacked they could shoot the @#%$^! The courts have literaly put the cops between a rock and hard place, they can't defend themselves unless someone is shooting at them.
I have said before if they disregard our immigration laws and come here illegally, what other laws are they going to thumb their nose at? And if they attack an armed police officer, what would they do to us?

That's the problem, NYC won't let you make them fear you. That's part of why they're so emboldened.
