I go a few times each year for work. If you are a picky eater it might not be as glamorous as one might think. That being said I do enjoy traveling and trying new things.

That would work for the asia trip but for Costa Rica you are going to need to invest in some good rum. Flor de' Cona would be my suggestion. At least 12yo.
Ehhhh ... I dunno ... Last time I drank rum it didn't work out so well ...
However, I'll freely admit I was young and it was the rotgut stuff -- and I "might" have drank a little too much, a little too fast. 
I might have to try this Flor De' Cona stuff ...
