Here is a link to a good article by the Daily Caller where NRA reporter Chris Cox went One-On-One with Romney concerning his views & beliefs about gun ownership and gun laws. It is good reading. I'm only posting a link due to the article length.

He is Pro national reciprocacity on concealed carry. Con / against any new gun show laws or federal registration regulations. Pro for public hunting on federal lands. Says he will not allow any more restrictive gun laws such as the UN small arms treaty or the high capacity magazine ban... and will eliminate many of the restrictive gun laws that are on the books now. VOTE ROMNEY!!!!!

national reciprocity = national regulation, opens the door for national licensing. why not just hold states to the 2nd amendment?

Because licensing of firearms is what everyone who views the Second Amendment as a privilege wants. To view the Second Amendment as protecting a right and to support licensing of any Second Amendment act at any level of government is mutually exclusive.

... which is why i've not applied for a CCL.
can't see asking permission to do something from someone who doesn't have the authority to deny that permission.

Next President will not PASS any new laws, Congress will.
But next president will appoint supreme Court Justices and Judges at lower levels.
Who do we want doing that? Obama? I think not.
