I have a buddy who's uncle is unfortunately passing away from cancer. He is wheelchair bound and in a nursing home. He is wanting to leave my buddy a couple of his guns (AR, pistols) but wants a full ffl transfer that way there is no fighting over them after he is gone. Is there somebody in the Tulsa area who could go to the nursing home and do the transfer and would the guns have to be brought up there? Thanks.

I am no lawyer, but from my understanding having an FFL do a background check won't assign rights of ownership.

Yea, Write up a bill of sale or what have you and try to get a notary to come out there and put their seal in it.

and other than gunshows ffl's can't do business any where but thier license address

There are a couple of other exceptions like sanctioned sporting events but for the most part this is the rule of thumb
