Again, this was simply an exercise in a Spanish language class (a class where kids are taught to speak Spanish). This was not a protest by Hispanic students. This was not the act of some left wing teacher. This was simply an exercise in a Spanish class.

Guys most of you know that I agree with you about the illegal alien issue, but JB and the others are correct on this one. It is just a Spanish class and I for one am glad to see them saying the Pledge, even if it is in Spanish. A lot of kids are not taught it nowadays.

I do think JB and others went overboard on the racist BS but they are lefties and you have to expect that.

For those who are ignorant about what a spectrum is... see the first image.

Politics do not exist as you perceive (bottom image).

I love how some of you guys are trying to bash me because I said what my opinion was.

I personally think it's wrong for the POA to be said in another language. That's MY OPINION, if yours isn't the same... fine... I'm not bashing anyone here for thinking it should be. I'll let everyone else here have their own opinion on it and I'll move on.

And Hobbes, I'm sorry that it obviously upsets you so much that I didn't read everyone elses post before I chimed in with my opinion about the OP's original posting. The reason I didn't read through it all is because I knew it would be a back and forth argument that ran for multiple pages and since I'm not here trying to persuade people to view things the same way as me, I didn't really see the need to read through everyones arguments back and forth.

Yeah I agree with you, you are simply giving your opinion, just like I was just giving my opinion, and I am getting bashed on. IMO it is unAmerican to do the POA in any other language other than english

Calling it an 'opinions' doesn't change the fact that it can still be wrong.

I don't understand why saying the pledge in another language is unamerican. Seriously, it's probably more American than a lot of things. This country was founded on the notion of freedom. Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from the govt. telling you what to do or think.

The idea that reciting the pledge in another language shouldn't be done is probably more damaging to the ideas that america was founded on than any damage that could possibly come from it actually happening.
