I have always ridiculed people(including my wife) who paid big money for designer Jeans, always thought they were throwing money away. I tried on a pair of Jeans over the weekend that were $140 a pair. I understand why you pay that money now. They were so thick and soft and comfortable that I paid the price for them. The last time I was a 32" waist I weighed 150# Which was long before I met my wife I was in a 34 by then. I am back in a 32 comfortably at 170# now, 6 months ago it was size 36's at 200#

I guess the gradual addition of expensive clothes to the new wardrobe as I get rid of my fat stuff will be motivation to keep going!

You go man, I have a few more pounds I want to shed. I am doing well at the gym, but my diet lacks a little. Its hard to be disciplined. Great job!

I've never been able to bring myself to pay for 'em, though I have tried expensive jeans on and gotten gifts of expensive jeans before.

Up until recently, though, you wouldn't find me in a pair of jeans that weren't Wrangler Rustlers. Cheap and easy to find.

Then I "dressed up" in Wrangler Five Stars once. Dropped the Rustlers. Cheap, easy to find, and more comfortable (i.e. not Stwranglers).

The my wife brought me home a pair of Wrangler 20x. I'm glad she did. At $40 a pop I would have never bought them on my own. But they sure are comfortable, and she looks at me a little longer as I walk by.

Now I wanna be like you and get back down to 190ish.

A young man early 20s wore a pair of those fancy jeans one day to a safety meeting (oilfield). No idea on brand but they had glittery shiny buttons all over. He caught so much hell about his jeans.

Do any of you ladies know where I can find a size 11 pump that accentuates my thin ankles without making me look too bird-leggish? Something in a bold tone, though, because keeping light colors clean is just the worst!

For real, though, congrats on the success so far. I know you've been posting around here for a while about getting it done. It's awesome to see it paying off for you.

As for my jean preference, I'm 6'1" and 165 lbs. Most 31x34 pants are slightly too tight in the waist and slightly too long (unless I hike them up so high the zipper seam splits my nuts in half and makes it look like I've got a can of busted biscuits in my drawz) and most 32x33 pants are slightly too loose in the waist and slightly too short in the leg. I'm happy with cheap jeans that have a stylish fit, so I just get online and order the same pairs of 32x34 Aeropostale slim and slim bootcut jeans over and over again. They last quite a while for being cheap, slave-labor jeans, and fit perfectly when just out of the dryer, but that fit doesn't last for more than a few hours. Plus, when the knees give out I can just take a pair of scissors to them to make some cut-offs and let my upper thighs breathe.
