So I'm going to propose to my girlfriend here soon and this is my idea. She has really started to love shooting and asks me all the time when we are going to go. I was thinking about making a spring loaded target that when she shoots it a sign will pop up saying " will you marry me". I was thinking about putting it out at about 100 yards so when she shoots the target and the sign comes up she will have to look through the scope to see it. What do you guys think? I know there are some female members on here and I would like a female opinion on the idea.
I think someone here or on another firearms forum did something similar - he posted the question on a paper target at the 100 yard line, and had the woman look at it through the spotting scope. Maybe if he sees this, he'll chime in.

Yup, Buck from this board did it at USSA on the 300 yard range with a target that had the proposal on it. I loaned him one of my spotting scopes for the event.
