Had a Black and Tan Coonhound with Addison’s disease and wondering if anyone here has a dog with the same? LeRoy was an interesting character.

I had a black and tan with the same. We did the best we could to prolong her life. We did the shots and prednisone for her and it got us maybe 18 months more but she had several addisonian crises and her kidneys just couldn’t handle it.

LeRoy went quickly last night while lying at the foot of our bed. Took him in a week ago and after testing they couldn’t find a darn thing wrong with him. Thought we got him back as on Sunday he was out there howling again and having a great time. Guess it was his last hurrah!
