Anyone know what is going on at the old ford dealership over off i240 and i35? It's locked up saying state property and there's a sign that says parts and service. And for awhile now there's only been a couple police cars there but the other day the place was full of them. Some kind of auction? Or a new state service center? The OKC.gov site doesn't mention anything about it. If it is a new service center I hope they are looking for technicians. Cause I have been wanting to work on police cars for awhile now but I can't find anyone hiring.

A highway near you.
As much as Okie would like for it to be a conspiracy theory...(sigh) it is about to become our new DPS garage. Its cheaper to consolidate a few small locations and just make one main site.As far as applying go to the Jim Thorpe building (2101 N Lincoln). Thats where all State jobs start.

Did you say there were a bunch of Crown Vics at an old Ford Dealership. Nostalgia maybe? They missed the location.

On the hiring just give them a call. Last I heard they kept pushing the next academy back due to budgeting. One month its on the next its off again.

I figured they just moved the service location for the Chargers and he was seeing an "average day".
