Did the material have some stretch to it? Or did you use an elastic band to hold it to the face? Mrs Pistolpete has some sewing skills.
I use two pretty frequently. A thin fleece one made by fieldline for cool temps. and an old thicker sweater knit one made by Cabela’s for when it’s cold. Both of mine are fairly small/short- 12” tall at most and easily fit into a jacket pocket. Gaiters and a beanie go a long way in keeping me warm, especially when I’m under dressed. They work OK as a face mask too.
