I always bought bushings when buying powder.

Look through load data, find a load, note powder charge and get that bushing. Possibly the one on either side, too.
Ex. Need a 38, get 37, 38, 39.

Unless you load every gauge, you will never use a lot of those bushings.

I load 12 ga 3" and 2 3/4", lead and steel, 16 ga, 20 ga, and .410. Each has 3 -5 bushings, with several sizes missing.

I finally bought an adjustable charge bar and quit using bushings.

I’ve bought several “lots” of shotgun reloading stuff and parted it out, and that stuff is a lot harder to get rid of now than it was 30 years ago.

I bought the RCBS progressive over the Mecs when shooting trap and never looked back. Get that bad boy set up and you can crank out some shotshells.
One of the guys I used to shoot with converted his to pneumatic control so he didn't have to use the handle anymore.
