Just heard that a friend of my wife's family shot and killed his son-in-law. He's claiming self defense. Hopefully it was a justifiable shoot but we could use some prayers either way.

Just read the article on it on News on 6. Seems the victim just filed for divorce on Tuesday (2-19-13) this week. Says the shooting happened at the victim residence as well. Hopefully it was a clean self defense shoot & not a upset daddy going too far. Says the shooter is also a Pastor at The Cross Baptist Church.

Yeah, he went over there to help his daughter move out. Not sure how it escalated, but it did.
Yea, thats what I figured after reading it. Seemed like his only reason to be over there would be to help her move or if the guy was being abusive to her & she called dad to come get her. Hopefully it was a clean shoot & he was in the right.
