I reloaded for years without a scale. I used Lee dippers, and the load sheet that came with the Lee dies.
No scale, no tumbler, no mentor and no internet.

No problems.
I'll admit I was just looking for plinking level accuracy.
No chronograph work, trying to barely make a power factor or whatever.
But it worked fine for me.

I know that it is way late in the game and prices are beyond exorbitant but I bought a Herter's #3 reloading press the other day. I'll eventually get it rigged out and if I like it I will buy an RCBS Rockchucker (again). I plan on loading .308, 30-06, .270, and perhaps .243.

Only thing about buying now is it will just rollback the 'it pays for itself' clock, but as far as those calibers go it is so much more efficient to do it yourself. I only load my rifle rounds for deer/hog hunting but even then you know that come deer season you will have exactly the load you want and not whatever the store has in stock!
