The new 2009 report for the SDA is out.
35,962 Licenses approved up from 18,510 the previous year.
14 revoked, 44 suspended. If my math is right that is about .0016%. pretty good statistics for a bunch of gun nuts.

And that's only the percentages of revocations and suspensions vs. the number of licensees added in 2009. It's even less if you consider the total number of current licensees.

Details not included but statute for cause is listed. Not all of them are necessarily permanent revocations.

When you compare the approvals to the estimated amount of eligible residents (using This August 2009 Report), you get approximately 1.5% of the Washita County population getting approved in 2009 alone.

Some of the counties had more approvals than they had applications. I wonder who got those permits??
