Some of the counties had more approvals than they had applications. I wonder who got those permits??

I was wondering that as well. Alfalfa is my home county and it was one of those with more approvals that applications. The only thing I can see is if someone applied say December 2008 and were approved after the first of the year.

Left overs from the previous year. If someone submitts in December it likely won't be approved till the next year. The numbers for subbmissions and approvals would be different.

This is good info to remember when talking to our elected reps aboun t SDA issues. It shows that people can carry firearms responsibly.

not the same number.

c'mon, fourth grade math.

One has a % sign therefore they are the same number 100/100=1 1x100%=100%
.0016x100%=.16%

If both numbers were intended to be %s then the above is not true.

The number in question is 14+44=58 suspended or revoked
58/35962=.0016
.0016x100%=.16%

There I believe that is all correct, but I did go to public schools :)

Excuse me, but RKLarry originally said ".0016%"
I was going with the assumption everyone was talking about the original .0016% (0.57 and change out of 35962) vs. the .16% (57 and change out of 35962)

I understand the reality of the values, I was arguing RKL's original number vs the argument assuming percentage.
