Just thought you should know, there are ranges by the ODWC at Cherokee WMA, Okmulgee GMA, and Fort Gibson WMA and in 2021 they announced plans for 11 new ranges. Packsaddle was first but they also have plans for Kaw Lake, Lake Heyburn, Hulah Lake, and Copan Lake. All of these are North central or Northeast.Wow a wonderful setup. You are lucky to have that in your “backyard “. Those of us in ne Okla would kill fr something like it!
Thanks! Hoping they do this as Copan lake would be a drive truly worth it from OologahJust thought you should know, there are ranges by the ODWC at Cherokee WMA, Okmulgee GMA, and Fort Gibson WMA and in 2021 they announced plans for 11 new ranges. Reread, centerfire rifles & pistols above 50 caliber prohibited. A muzzle loader though some may use a primer are not considered a centerfire rifle.Nice but I noticed sign said nothing 50 caliber or larger allowed, so I guess I couldn't shoot my muzzle loader there

To help fund the cost of the installation I would assume.Wow that’s nice. Wonder why you have to have a hunting license to shoot at a range
