@Timmy59 ; What's up with that? I searched Ewk.com and saw they no longer have that item. Can you elaborate please?

Joel, No I can not elaborate, I'll have to "assume" S&W corrected the issue you had and we discussed in pms.. My barrel / slide fitment is good and accuracy is as good as I am after some rear sight drift..

@Timmy59, and anyone else interested, as a follow up here I called Eric at EWK ARMS and talked to him about this. He dropped production of this bushing due to a number of people who complained about it. He said it just wasn’t supportable; it worked great for some, but others reported malfunctions with the bushing installed. So it’s a dead deal; no more available. Darn, that thing sure worked for me!

I just got a 2nd Compact today (my wife took my first one) and the rod lines up perfectly. To my untrained (& old) eyes, I see no difference in how the 2 pistols are made, but clearly, the bushing is unnecessary in the new one.
