Aside from our military bases and personnel in the RoK, Okinawa, and other nearby locations? Well, there's the possibility that they have missiles capable of reaching the Left Coast (which, I guess, isn't necessarily a bad thing ), and even if they don't, they can easily reach targets in the RoK and Japan, which could have tremendous effects on the global economy.And it's our problem how?
Publicly, at least, China was telling them not to do it--that's why it was so surprising that they did it anyway. China is too busy rattling sabers at Japan and Taiwan; they don't need the DPRK actually getting the bullets flying again.They wouldn't have done it without permission from China.
