I have been toying with the idea of building a wood furniture 308 and found this old ad while looking for pictures. Thought this was pretty cool. Dont know if it is legit or not bust still pretty cool. Anyone know anything about these?

I didn't look for them at the Gun Show last weekend but there usually is a vendor with all kinds of wooden furniture in all different types and colors of wood. At first I didn't think much about it but now they are starting to grow on me. Especially the cherry wood. It'd be sweet to build one with a huckleberry lower.

You might check IronWood designs, pretty sure they made a wood AR stock set that's pretty sharp.

Just take your mags and wrap them in wood look contact paper

For that matter do the WHOLE THING that way. Wooden barrel included.
