I recently came across some .45 ACP ammo with nylon jacketed bullets. Anyone know if there is any benefit to the nylon as far as ballistics? I know they eliminate copper fouling but is that all they do different?
I'm pretty sure someone other than Federal would've done it by now if it had any kind of ballistic advantage, so I'm gonna say there's not a significant advantage other than fouling reduction.
