Obama Announces 214 More Sentence Commutations: 50+ with Firearms Charges

It appears they were non-violent drug offenders, and they simply had firearms in possession while committing the non-violent crime. This is a pro-gun move, and Obama is basically saying: that really isn't a crime. What is the problem with this?

+1 .. most drugs laws flat don't work .. all the war on drugs did was fill our prison system and make massive profits for private prisons in the system.

Because Obama says they were "non violent" you believe him? You believe the "hope and change" and "shovel ready jobs" too?

Some were doing their federal time for criminal enterprise such as trafficking and money laundering. Yeah ... That is typically non violent type of criminal. Sure.

My two cents is that if one is liberal, an Obama apologist, a dope smoking loser and/or someone who lacks integrity to back up what they say will think that what Obama did was hpjust swell.
