She's the black sheep of the family anyway, coming from a line of NW Oklahoma conservatives. They put up with her silly libtarded ways because she's funny and makes everyone laugh. She is so died-in-the-wool left she won't even consider going to a gun range. Not even to shoot little metal ducks with a .22! She doesn't like motorcycles either. I tell ya, this thing will never work!
We went for a good year and a half before discussing any type of political stuff but she knows where I stand on the issues and knows there's no changing me. We just agree that we think each other is nutz and leave it at that.
She's a minister so they sorta drift into that touchy/feely crap. Textbook liberal. ;-)
