I think it is a stupid ass idea. I also don't like the NRA using this gimmick making their mailers look like past due final notice bills three months after you just renewed.

Attempting to shame me into doing something will only strengthen my resolve to not support whatever it is you are trying to get me to do.

Quite frankly, I'm in favor of people not voting. If someone has to be threatened/encouraged/cajoled into voting, I'd rather they just stayed home.
