The guy that does them for me gets them out quick. I wanted to do a full shoulder mount but he had been fighting with a lot of damage done to one side of the head so it had to be a European.

I really prefer euros for a couple reasons. First off, I just like the “look”, and it makes even a marginal buck look big. Second, I can carry a euro with me to show friend and family. I rarely have guests out to my house, so very few people ever get to see my shoulder mounts.
Deep down, I kinda wish I would’ve euroed my buck this year.

That's a lot better than I expected. Beginning of rifle season really had the numbers lopsided. I killed 4 does this year, so far, 5 total deer. It's the most I've ever killed in a season. Whacked this one last Sunday.

No kidding, at least one of them came off my lease. At least it was a kid and his first deer.

I'm going to watch the sunset on deer season from the stand as usual. Don't really have any intention on shooting anything, it's just a way I like to close out seasons. Thank goodness for safety harnesses. The wind will be rocking.
