It took a week before any deer started eating my rice bran.
I had it right next to a corn feeder, so one day I put a gallon of corn in the bran and they started eating it.
I'm sure they would have started eating it without the corn in it, but it sounded like a good idea at the time.

I've never seen acorns like this, any deer I have seen are staying 30-40 yards into the woods and on the acorns. Plus side, the food plots look amazing because they're hardly being touched.

Porcupines can't seem to stay out of my bobcat traps the last couple of years. I remember seeing my first one in OK about 25 years ago out by Mooreland......there's no shortage of them.

If you had ladies on your mind, and 75% of the ladies in the area were looking for a man.............would you just lay down all day and chew your cud because the wind was blowing? :) I think the bucks will care less about the wind.
