Paid and filled out Form 4, April 10, 2018
Check cashed two weeks later.
Approved December 23, 2018
Forms arrived at my dealer this morning, February 8, 2109

It probably sat in the "outgoing mail" box until the examiners got back to work and took it to the Postal Service.

I spoke with ATF today and they advised that it is taking 9 months now on average after the shutdown. I was asking for a friend.

Talked to my examiner. My form 4 has been in the hands of the FBI since August 3rd, and they're currently working on forms they received in June.

My check was cashed in February. August is just when the FBI took my paperwork from the ATF.

When does one get an examiner? All I keep hearing is "pending" when I asked what that meant the lady did not know.

So I got a form 1 and 4 from October. Looks like I just need to forget about it till Christmas lol.
