They ain't huggy psychologists there to affirm you. They are trained guard dogs on a short leash just as soldiers are war dogs....you mess with either at your own peril...nobody calls a cop to see the best that humanity has to offer, people only call cops to see the worst, and when somebody screams and gets in their face and touches them, the very predictable happens...at worst, the guy did not know his own strength or how easily the guy would go down, and none of this lynch mob would have done any better.

I always thought they were just people that sometimes let the power they have go to their heads.

Well duh, but if it's a cultural difference and I'm a 70 yo man talking to a 30 yo cop...the cop was out of line, way out.

I don't think the chip comes from inexperience. It comes from being accustomed to violence, AND being encouraged by the system to utilize that experience in violence to solve problems which require MORE experience in just being a member of society as a Civilian. They still have the mind-set, emotional maturity, and self-esteem of soldiers.

The chip may come from lack of training and immaturity.

Definitely. He is a danger to the public unable to restrain himself from using way too much force and causing grave bodily injury to a senior citizen.

I wonder what the stats are for cops on TRT or other things like that. That could explain some of the over the top aggression. Wasn't there a steroid ring busted in OKC a few years back? Whole bunch of seriously jacked officers.

I am all about have a good debate but if agree with his diarrhea it doesn't say much for you. All he did was have a bout Tourettes while he hates on cops, if you're gonna take exception with the cop for being excessive in how he responded .
