I just read the linked story, but initially heard about it elsewhere. I don't know why, probably because I'm weird, but I remember this dude from the stolen jack stand story. I didn't realize this was the same dude until I read the linked story.
I've had some dealings with the DA in Stillwater concerning the theft of a pickup registered to me by a repeat offender. I wasn't happy with how it was progressing so I called to chew her ass a little after the thieving meth head had been arrested for about the 5th time for the same thing, and why was her office allowing him to continue to prey on the citizens of Payne Co. . She said she understood, but explained to me why she was going about it the way she was, and that if I cooled my jets a little I'd get the satisfaction I was looking for. Suffice it to say, the court/prison system is a mess, and until they could get him enrolled in drug court and then have him screw that up any felony conviction would have resulted in him checking into a ODOC facility and checking out on the same day. She didn't want that. She wanted his ass locked up for a long time, just like me. So, she drug him along for a while, in and out of jail until she got him enrolled in Drug Court, and as she promised, he made it less than a month before he got booted. She had him picked up, and now he's doing two 1 year consecutive sentences in the Co Jail, and he'll do three more 3 year consecutive sentences in prison when he's done in jail. That's 11 years behind bars, and I'm good with that. She stipulated the consecutive sentences in his plea in exchange for getting him into drug court. She's okay in my book.
14 separate tips… and ended up with 1 charge.. albeit “aggravated” possession. I don’t think this was an oopsie. Hang ‘em high, those found guilty.
This thread serves as proof that when the accusation is CP, everyone is glad to presume guilt right off the bat.
Which is extremely useful information for corrupt law enforcement who want to character assassinate someone before they've had a fair trial. They can just plant evidence and have the DA throw on the charge and boom case closed.
It even makes ME feel dirty like I'm trying to protect this guy, but my issue here is that the presumption of innocence is a foundation of our country and it needs to be protected.
I agree! Especially accusations of child molestation! Once that accusation is made publicly, the accused is RUINED, in every way possible, no matter how unfounded the accusation turns out to be! Remember the family that ran the day care out west somewhere, Oregon I think? The false accusation destroyed this whole family over a screwball mothers false accusations!
If the word "groomer" or "grooming" had been inserted anywhere in this thread, the groomer supporters would have been in here calling out Christians, Cops, Boy Scouts leaders, Jews (because they circumcise), fat bearded rednecks, uneducated dolts, or anyone else they deem necessary to justify the grooming community. CP is just one short shuffle away from grooming. They'll be in here equivocating about dude's political leanings or how he's a victim if they can find a way. Wait and see.
Every profession, every club, every gathering of people, every internet forum has bad apples. Now instead of counting the small percentage that are the bad apples, try counting the multitude of people that are doing the right things, everyday. Some people just like to think about the bad ones. I guess it makes them feel so much better.
IT makes me feel really BAD!!!!!!!!!!!! Just knowing we have even one MAGGOT HUMAN BEING DOING THESE DESPICABLE ACTS TO KIDS!
Then castigate him, not all the others you lumped into the "group". I know a lot of teachers, ministers, politicians, judges that are very fine individuals. I also know some gun owners that should not be allowed around firearms.
