Tragic, just tragic. If they would have just left him alone, he would have just taken his (newly-acquired) possessions and been on his way. Now, another young life lost to gun violence because of the selfishness and reactionism of the homeowners. Tragic.

/sarcasm.

So; thug lives matter? Nah.

Tulsa Police say a woman was tied to a chair while a man invaded her home and robbed her. A relative arrived and freed the woman at the Hampton Hills Apartments, 700 West 49th Street.

Police say the woman opened her door to the man because she was expecting a visit from the family member. Instead, the suspected came in, bound her to the chair and ransacked the apartment, according to police.

TULSA, Oklahoma -
Police are looking for one of two men they say broke into a woman's house near I-44 and Garnett. One of the men is in the hospital after the woman shot him.

Police say the female victim reported two men kicking in her door just around 9:30 Sunday night.

As the guys entered the home, police say the victim went to her bedroom and grabbed a gun. They say she told the men she had a gun but they kept coming towards her, so she fired three rounds at them.

One man was shot in the chest but both made it to a white four-door vehicle and left the scene. Police say that vehicle was then seen dropping that suspect off at a local hospital, where he's in the ICU in serious condition.

Officers say they're still looking for the other intruder.

The woman in the home was not hurt. Police say she told them she does not know either of the burglars.

TULSA - Tulsa police officers spent the waning hours of Tuesday night responding to three suspected armed robberies in east Tulsa.

Each armed robbery, police say, involved a firearm and occurred between 10:15 p.m. and 11:45 p.m.

Police say the first occurred at a home near East 31st Street and Highway 169.

A husband and wife, according to police, returned home to find two suspects waiting for them. One of them pulled out a handgun as they demanded the couple empty their pockets.

The victims weren't able to provide specific details about the suspects or how they got away.

Then, at close to 11 p.m., Tulsa police responded to an armed robbery call at a home near East 21st Street and South 129th East Avenue.

In this instance, police say two women returned to their home to find two suspects waiting for them. One pulled out a shotgun and demanded their money, police say.

One of the victims described one of the suspects as an African American male, 16 to 20 years old. She thought he was 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8, 120 to 130 pounds and dressed in a black hoodie and grey pants.

They did not see a getaway car.

Finally, at close to 11:45 p.m., police received an armed robbery call for a home near East 11th Street and Highway 169.

Police say a man returned home to find two suspects, including one armed with a shotgun, waiting for him. They demanded his money. In this case, the victim believed the pair left in a red pickup truck.

Tulsa police say despite the similarities, close proximity and timeframe, they do not believe these are related at this time.
