Just found this. It's a couple years old but it appears the store is still there.
Here is the really interesting bit.

"Otasco gave its franchisees the right to continue using the name for 99 years after going out of business."

MARLOW — While most Otasco stores in Oklahoma closed in the late 1980s, a bright yellow sign bearing the name of the forgotten retail chain still hangs defiantly over Mike Crow’s hardware and small-engine repair shop.

The Otasco store, one of the last remaining of its kind in the state, sits on Main Street in Marlow between a Dollar General and a shop with a hand-painted sign called “Little Bit of Everything” that sells just that. The Marlow Review newspaper and City Hall are on the same block.

Sweet! I had no idea there were any of them left. The first rifle I wanted to buy was at an Otasco store here in Enid. Jungle carbine, and I think it was twenty- or thirty-some bucks. I was just a kid and my Dad was never into guns or hunting. He made we wait until an Uncle from Texas could look at it and see if it was a good deal. My Uncle nixed the deal because it had a "cheap Japanese scope" on it. To hell with the scope ... I wanted the rifle. Nope. Dad would not let me have it. I don't think I have ever been so hurt or so angry in all my life.

My first gun purchase was in 1973 at the OTASCO in Fairfax OK. A Winchester M1400 w/three choke tubes in 20 gauge - still have it today.
