Is there a good/easy way to rip your music CD's to digital (I'm guessing MP3) files?
Asking for a non-high tech friend.
Found it, thanks to the computer guru known as the wife. It is Windows Media Player. If it works right, putting a CD into the drive and closing it brings up Media Player, and if one looks across the top of the screen, there is a heading referring to ripping.+

Here is a screenshot of the media player. There is also an area for "Rip Settings" that allows one to set it for mp3 and a destination on the hard drive.
