I agree whole heartedly with that if there isn't a threat and you can walk away WALK AWAY why push it if you do then YOU are the agressor. We as gun owners don't need BAD publicity to further restrict the 2A.

Brandishing is used a lot on the internet, but I can't find the term in OK law, and I've looked for it. Anyone see it used or defined in OK law?

What I do see is "Misdemeanor pointing" and "Felony pointing."

Which implies to me to keep it holstered in public.

With concealed guns or open, I don't want to take it out to show it to somebody and negligently sweep a third party, which is misdemeanor pointing.

I grew up in a gold-star open carry state (KY) but I don't like to carry open in towns and crowds.
I am going to feel better knowing in Nov the accidental wind flash in the parking lot is not a crime.

Totall agree there I also lived in an open carry state(AZ) and I feel the same way about high public areas and have never pulled my weapon to show ot off in public places why take the chance.
