I have found they offer all the advantages the dot sights gave the carbine and more.
There’s a reason most combat carbines today fielded by folks that actually use them have dots and lights mounted, because they work.
Game time pistols are following suit since the technology is here.
They are a game changer for me as I’ve gotten older and can now barely see the front sight especially as the lighting goes down.
For sure, if you need to shoot, the light will be piss poor and the sights difficult to see.
