Ok I gotta admit that's cheaper than I thought it would be. I don't think I'm a candidate though ... I've had a vitrectomy and cataract surgery.
Is that right? I did mine for ~$4000? That was like 6-7 years ago but still. One of the best decisions I've made though. 20/20 in one eye and 20/15 in the other.

My friend had lasiks done about 4 years ago.
Walked in and asked the person at the front desk how much for both eyes.
Was told it was $1500 for each eye.
He said I have cash and do not need a receipt and I want it done for $1500 total.
She said she can't do that.
He said go get the doctor that be doing it.
She did and he told that guy the same thing I have 1500 cash and do not need any receipt and want both eyes done.
He now has perfect vision and it cost him $1500
Cash is king even for that stuff.

One of my daughters had lasik several years ago and is very happy with the results. When I had cataract surgery a couple of years ago, I opted for the extra cost for Rx implants and after wearing glasses since the fifth grade, I was free of them. Worth the extra $.
Inflation hit lasik I see.
I don't know if I want to get discount lasik.
