Nothing but an inch of gentle rain today. Some thunder had the turkey shock gobbling in the woods around the house. Literally around the house. One woke me up pecking on the window, then gobbling. It's getting to breeding season, so the bachelor groups have broken up and are looking for love now.
Our windows are floor to ceiling with some reflective inside so the turkey see their reflection thinking another tom is invading their area, so they get aggressive toward the reflection and want to fight.
It's pretty funny actually. They go completely stupid this time of year. We have seen them pecking at the chrome bumper on the truck.
Stupid like humans at the bar on Saturday night. :laugh6:

Another great day. Today’s plans include a haircut, hanging a TV bracket for son-in-law and family on their patio, a couple of errands for my lovely bride, and hopefully a bit of time this morning at H&H range. But first, I believe I’ll have another mug of coffee.

I hope everyone gets to enjoy today!

Since I gave an example of a photographer not being observant with my picture at the Navajo Bridges, I'll add another one here.

A lot of photos that I have show lakes that lean, so I either have photographic evidence that physics is wrong, or maybe I have one leg shorter than the other.

All those above are at Jackson Lake near the Grand Tetons. That last photo isn't so bad as the others.

This last one is right here in Oklahoma at Grand Lake. Dancer better be careful or his waterfront place might go dry one of these days.

Now, to be honest with that last one, it was a picture taken "on the fly." I was framing the picture for the sunset when I noticed a movement in the viewfinder of the camera. I had no idea of what it was but I tripped the shutter anyway. After taking the shot, the bird went off to my left and I saw then that it was a grey Egret or whatever heading for its nesting area. So, with that one, I didn't really have time to make sure the lake was horizontal.

Incidentally, I need to acknowledge something beneficial to all here at OSA. Smugmug keeps track of statistics for one's website there. I've had mine since June 14 of 2017, so it is less than 5 years by a few months. However, I have been absolutely astonished by the number of "image views" at my website, and the bulk of the visits from referrers have come primarily from OSA's and Glock Talk's forums. As of March 14 of this year, there have been more than 1,500,000 image views of my photos.

So, thanks to all of you here that are looking. May I be able to continue to provide things of beauty and interest to all of you.
