Tell her it'll be a non-refundable charge of $250 each time she uses the gate. Also tell her it's on video.
I try to be a good neighbor (not that this lady is really a “neighbor”), but I got burned last year letting an outfitter who owns property close to mine access my place to duck hunt on the river when all his places were froze over. I won’t go into the details, but he nor his employees/clients will ever be welcome on my place again.
Tomorrow is my last day at my current job, will be starting at a new company on Monday. Back when I was younger, 18-22 range, I did a lot of job hopping, looking for my niche, and quitting never bothered me much. After 12 years here, it feels weird now...
The way I see it is, It's your property and it's your choice. You have no obligation to let anyone on your property especially if you are not there. JMO

Went to the farms today. It was a bit warm for September.
We did get our certification done this morning, and we also got out to the Audie Murphy American Cotton Museum this afternoon. It's not a bad museum, and we saw some neat stuff there. They even have an "auditorium" (on a small scale) in which they are playing a video about Audie Murphy's life.

Most of the firearms displayed were military ones. There is one that "might" be a commemorative lever action on display, but it is back behind some other stuff, so one can't see the whole rifle.
And, how is this for an old electric motor?
That motor drives this system.
Their displeay lighting wasn't the greatest, so I ended up getting some glaring spots.
Can you imagine the team in WWI that had to lug this monster around?
All in all, a pretty good day.

My weather app shows Alfalfa county is getting some showers and a break in the heat today. However, east TX is going to continue the miserably hot temps with no rain in sight. Just another day of my belt buckle sweating while I work.
@retrieverman - had a low of 59.6 here in northern Enid this morning, and it's warmed up to 61.4 so far. Barely sprinkled off and on all morning.
