Still had issues this morning, and after checking such things as cable connections and such, they suggested pulling the one server with issues and re-seating the two memory cards within it. After pulling the memory cards and sending a picture of them to tech support, they said they were the wrong memory cards for that computer, so they are sending us some new ones.
However, the re-seating worked and we continued with work this afternoon. Tomorrow morning, we meet the Rhode Island DOT person at the first certification site and start doing those 4 sites again. After that, we should have the new memory cards in and the wife can replace the wrong ones.
Our drive team manager contacted us and said that they might still be able to send someone up to replace us and let us go on to work South Carolina. However, such a switch would require us to drive the van back to the Tulsa area, which would take 3 days, and then there would be another 3 days for the other team to drive back to RI. That isn't very efficient, so we told them that we would go ahead and finish the state of RI. We should then get back home in time to work north Texas again.
I don't know where your version of "here" is, but in all of my driving in Oklahoma, I have NEVER seen streets as narrow as some of them in Rhode Island, especially with regards to Providence.
Nope. Just a headache. Now they are saying tomorrow night. Maybe. Stay tuned. Lol I know we could ALL use it but I'd be happy for a break in the action for a week or so.
Urgh ... Buddy ... It's muggy as **** here. I went outside to take care of the critters this morning and came back inside soaked in sweat. I'm an OLD woman now -- I'd rather DIE than break a sweat! Lol Still have my headache but it's better than yesterday so ya know what that means -- I need to do something with that kitchen! What a mess ... Lol

Got a heavy but quick rain shower, so I'll turn off the sprinklers for 24 hours that are keeping the ground wet for the grass seed that is growing where our inground pool used to be.

There was a big storm that moved through east TX last night, and I’m sure happy to live on a hill. I’ve got a few friends who woke up to water in their houses. My brother’s driveway washed out, and my mother’s pond overflowed and pasture flooded.
