Where they bust the sod in South Tulsa County.
We ate at an old time Mexican place in Tulsa today that was straight out of a can that came from a grocery store. The Salsa was straight tomato sauce from a can. They couldn't even supply me some Siracha to spice it up so it was edible.
Our orders of enchiladas, and rellenos plus a chalupa for me and something else for the wife came out in about three minutes. The beef on the chalupa was not fresh.
They don't scrimp on the cheese to cover up the taste of the old food that was made days ago.
I won't ever go back. Said they had been in business since 1975. I don't see how.
You gotta' name names.
If you want a historical mexican joint go to El Rancho Grande, been in bidness since the '50s.

Having a Hispanic wife and in-laws, I'm a bit partial to good Mexican food. Wife's dad helped open El Charro which became El Charrito for those who've been in OKC for a while.

Before Chelino's got "famous" in OKC area, their original location off SW 36th and Walker was the bomb. But, like many good restaurants, they grew too much and lost focus on quality or changed ownership amongst the family.

Best we've had lately is Frida's in the Paseo District of OKC. Kinda pricey but outstanding food!

Green chile kitchen in Yukon has some really good Chile Colorado. Now I'm hungry!

Man, I swear these kids just get younger and younger ... She's beautiful and that smile just radiates! I bet your buttons pop everytime she grins at you! 😉😁

My lawyer and I were talking about kids this morning when he came by. He's probably mid-30s with 3 pre-teens and a toddler. We were having trouble getting his drone to do what we wanted it to do and I said it was too bad my galpal's 12 year old wasn't here because I got him a drone for his birthday and within an hour or so he had taken it apart and reprogrammed it so it would do something he wanted. (I dunno ... He lost me at "I just fixed the codes in it" 🤷🤷) He said it scared him how much smarter his kids are than he was at their age. I gotta admit he hit a nerve -- I've felt the same way at times. Kids these days are CRAZY smart.

Congratulations to your daughter, @retrieverman Similar to OKRuss, we live close enough to Norman that we'd be willing to meet up as well if you desired to do so.

Off of that subject, we are scheduled to have a day off tomorrow to go on a lighthouse tour here in the Rhode Island area. It is supposed to take us near something like 20 lighthouses, provided that it doesn't rain so much that the tour gets called off.

Picture taking time.
