Seems like their equipment is rather finicky...
When we had our kitchen remodel done around 6 years ago I wired in some undercounter LED lights. Best thing ever!We built our barn apartment in 2018, and one of the things my wife picked out was under cabinet LED lights in the kitchen. The first one went out within the first year, and the lighting store warrantied it. We have three more out right now that I’ve been dragging my feet on replacing, because I figured it was going to cost me close to $500. I took one of them down this morning and went to the lighting store, and after I explained the situation, the store manager is going to warranty all three of the lights.
I got home this evening to put the light back up, and it’s the wrong color. I’m going to call them in the morning to see if they have the right color. If not, I guess I’ll just live with it.
I really like the lights, but I’m not happy with the longevity. These are WAC brand and cost $165 each, and I’ve had to replace 4 out of 5 in just 5 years. I’ve always thought LED’s were supposed to last a lot longer than that. When we had our kitchen remodel done around 6 years ago I wired in some undercounter LED lights. Best thing ever!
