Good morning,
Well, our company party here at the lake house was a huge success. We had 47 people Friday night, all day Saturday, and for breakfast on Sunday. We were up till about 2 AM each night and with set up and break down, We are beat. But have to get up this morning and drive back to the city and start back to work today at noon.
I will have to catch up with everyone later tonight. Have a great Monday everybody.

Well, after starting my day at 6am, the dogs and I just made up to the OK house, but I’ll be heading to Norman about noon tomorrow to meet my wife and daughter for dorm move in. I planned to get the yard mowed in the morning, but it looks like it might be raining.
Rain is a good thing, unless it floods in your case. I just looked at the Mesonet website. In the last 4 weeks, the home and farms have around 10" of rain. That's unheard of in Oklahoma during the summer.

I woke up in the night and heard rain on the skylight, and this morning there’s standing water in my yard. From the weather app, it looks like I got about a quarter inch overnight. I’m not complaining, but it‘s going to make some of the things I need to do while I’m here more challenging.
Mowing the yard ain’t happening this morning.
